Total curfew extended and partial one declared in NE Syria

The decision passed by the Co-chairmanship of the Executive Council in North East Syria reads:

” combating the COVID-19 pandemic and based on the public welfare it has been decided:

2-partial curfew imposed on all North Eastern Syria areas for seven days, as of Friday April 23rd, 2021, up to Thursday April 29th, 2021, as total curfews in Jazira and Tabqa extend.

2-all border crossing points to be closed except for humanitarian issues, students and trade.

3-groceries are exempted from total curfew.

4-movements of farmers and workers to be eased preserving social distance and measures taken.

5-hospitals, pharmacies, NGOs, media men, bakeries and petrol stations are all exempted.

6-all associations and bodies suspend work except for whose work necessitate attendance.

7all citizens ought to abide by the measures taken.

8-concerned bodies to be notified to put the decision into effect.
