SDF: forces advancing to end mercenaries proper

Media Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, said in a statement:

”some media outlets circulated inaccurate news that our forces control the Sina’ Prison proper.

These pieces of information are inaccurate.

Our forces controlled the extraordinary situation that ISIS mercenaries sought to make use of to break away from the prison. Those remaining inside the prison cannot escape now.

We are in an advanced stage to end properly the ISIS mercenaries that are fortified in the northern fences of the prison in in some dormitories. Operations are on-going and tens of mercenaries were killed and captured today”.
