MMC reveals outcome of attacks of Turkish occupation army on countryside of Manbij during April
This came through a statement issued by the Manbij Military Council’s media center, in which it said:
“The Turkish occupation army continues its violations, violating international laws and norms, by targeting inhabited villages. It also does not hesitate to harness its military criminal machine to threaten innocent citizens and turn their lives into panic and fear.
The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries use all immoral and humane methods to target anything and it does not differentiate between an old man, a woman or children.
Based on the foregoing, we list the outcome of the violations of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries during April, as follows:
The Sajur line on the northern side of the city of Manbij witnessed a number of violations. This resulted in the death of a civilian and another in the northern countryside of Manbij.
Indiscriminate shelling was used on those villages using fifty-five mortar shells, targeting the villages of Al-Jat, Awn Al-Dadat, Arab Hassan, Al-Muhsinli, Al-Sayada, Al-Yalanli. However, the prominent this time, it used the drone five times and did not hesitate at the time to bomb the populated villages.
On the other hand, the Manbij Military Council fighters confronted all this barbaric targeting, and were also able to shoot down one of them.
On the other hand, villages along the Sajur line were repeatedly targeted with medium and heavy weapons, numbering seventeen times. As a result, a civilian was killed in the locust farm, affiliated to the village of Al-Muhsinli, northwest of Manbij, while another was wounded in Aoun Al-Dadat, north of Manbij.
It goes without saying that what the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are doing, expose their words to shameful acts, and this is clearly shown by their indifference to the lives of civilians.
Accordingly, the Turkish occupation army commits grave violations, many of which amount to war crimes, including premeditated killings, and illegal attacks that killed and injured many civilians; repeatedly targeting the city of Manbij in particular and northeastern Syria in general.
In sum, the aim of these unjustified attacks is to destroy the lives of civilians, forcing them to endure the pain of migration and displacement from their homes, and to live in constant fear as a result of indiscriminate bombing and sniping operations, which killed and injured civilians.
