Mazloum Abdi congratulates Johnson on his party’s victory, looks forward to strengthening relations to end ISIS
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, congratulated the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the occasion of the victory of his “Conservative Party” in the British elections, and his re-assumption of office.
Abdi posted a Tweet on Twitter in which he congratulated Johnson and wrote: “Honorable Prime Minister Boris Johnson, we congratulate you on this great victory, gaining the confidence of the British people, and we look forward to strengthening our relations with the United Kingdom, raising the pace of our joint work in Syria to end ISIS, protect our gains, and find lasting democratic solutions that frustrate extremism and consolidate the safe and dignified return of refugees.”
The Conservative Party won a major breakthrough in the early British legislative elections taking place in light of the continuing process of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, which allowed Johnson to re-occupy the position of British Prime Minister.
